A Few Notes for 2006:
1. Two films share the #3 slot -- they are both docu-dramas, combining news footage and storytelling, and better for it.
2. Environmentally-themed documentaries with global overtones complete the Top 10, or is it a Twelve?
3. The more things change, the more they stay the same: musicians speak out against war.
4. Downright creepy stuff still happens in the Malvina Reynolds' little boxes of ticky-tacky, we call suburban spawl.
5. A French and Australian film each take a look at dealing with death, each in their own intimate way.
