Welcome to K+April for the decent flight of 1999... as opposed to the dismal year, know as 2000. Hiatus. This year, as there is seemingly every year along the coast, the bad weather occurred during the last few days of April and into early May [see the "N"on coverage dates below]. The worst weather for these three sites is persistent Easterly winds most often associated with a Nor'easter-type of system that dives to the coast, or worse yet -- stalls. 4 waves, on my end: right around the end of March/first of April, the end of the first week of April, April 18-22, and April 25-28

Differing heights to the waves -- geography [lay of the land] or weather [meteorological herding] -- are visible below... Still this is in limited distribution as you can tell by this telegraphic introduction. But since I have the data and maps set up...

I don't have the Shapie "waves" highlighted for the the coast, but check out the May movement from Sandy Hook to Plum. And yes, I know we need Cape Henlopen and Cape Cod [my old hawk watch]... Have you all looked at the UNISYS maps [and do I need to give them explanation, as they are just a little technically looking]?

I used "n" to indicate a date for which I have no data. The data is either missing from the emails or there was no coverage.
The bracketed "100" represents a flight I heard about, so its anecdotal. The first Kbird push is around a hundred birds... I was off at Derby Hill catching a big flight there... should have stayed home!
