| Here are four of the Bald Eagle on the ice flow. The very high and gusty winds were rippling the loose material, probably causing the birds to lift and land frequently. Also the "late" morning hour, by Bald Eagle standards, was likely about to end their feeding time and send them to roost. While the birds on each end look like adults, both have Osprey-like masks and both have varying amounts of black in their predominantly white tails... even the bird on the right. None of the ten birds I observed were adults. |
